Purpose of the book:

All proceeds, less printing and set-up costs, are distributed to independent local charities that agree to adhere to the criteria of Out and About with Bianca Inc., a registered not-for-profit association.

Our criteria:

Any charity supported by the sale of these books must rely solely on volunteers for its operation and must also not receive Government, Council, or any other monetary grants. Nor may they pay wages, administration fees, or any other form of remuneration. The strict criteria as set out by Out and About with Bianca Inc is to ensure every dollar we distribute is used solely for the welfare of the disadvantaged in our communities.

J & T supporting the disadvantaged.

This independent volunteer service works tirelessly throughout Hervey Bay to improve the quality of life of the disadvantaged by providing food, everyday essentials, and temporary shelter.

“Lunch with friends.”

This program, run entirely by volunteers, is designed to encourage social interaction between lonely and isolated people in our community. Currently, the lunches are held monthly at ‘The Treehouse’ Urangan, but we are endeavouring to have them fortnightly.

RTD Angels

This is a registered, independent not-for-profit charity. They conduct a ‘Schools Initiative Program’ which provides breakfast items, lunch packs, fruit, milk, bread, and snack packs to more than a dozen primary schools in and around Maryborough so they can operate their “Grab and Go” programs which currently ensures 650 children per week don’t go hungry.
